We are a brand new label based out of San Francisco!
When we formed Queer Control Records, our goal was simple: to bring you the best music you haven’t heard…yet. In the changing environment of independent punk music, we’re here to provide an outlet for emerging artists to share their visions. We are extremely dedicated and eager to work towards this goal.
We are here to be the PA system for the next voice of music. We’d like to inspire both young and older musicians. Those new to the music scene will find encouragement to establish their own voice, while older artists will be shown a way to rediscover their original motivation.
At Queer Control, we recognize and respect the visionaries who have come before us. They have inspired us to strike out on our own and represent the next generation of GLBTIQ musicians. Our team, based out of San Francisco, California, is comprised of passionate young professionals. Many of us are musicians ourselves. Because of this, we bring forward a unique blend of strong business management skills coupled with insightful creativity.
We’re currently representing some fantastic new talent, such as Pariah Piranha, 8 Inch Betsy,Oi-Gays, Fruit Punch and Tough Tough Skin. Feel free to join us in the revolution!

Emerging from her strong sense of connection with the Riot Grrl Movement, the Queercore music scene, and Do-It-Yourself culture, Marlene helped found Queer Control Records in order to celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer (LGBTIQ) music and artists. Marlene, who is also a musician herself, has the vision and passion to build upon the legacy of past LGBTIQ music movements and create something new and powerful for today’s generation of LGBTIQ youth to feel connected to.
In less than a year, Marlene has helped to transform Queer Control Records from but a promising idea into a reputable independent record label. With a full roster of up and coming LGBTIQ bands, Queer Control Records is certain to make a lasting and meaningful impression.

Jocelyn Wong

Jocelyn is the Professional Gay. She graduated from UC Riverside with a degree in Political Science and a minor in LGBT studies. Currently she works as a Development Associate for one of the largest LGBT organizations in San Francisco.
Jocelyn is helping QCR do grant research, grant writing, and other fundraising.......she rocks! |

Nikki Fraietta

Risen from the dead to tour with queer bands across the world, Nikki has conquered the touring life in the company of Tribe 8, Spit This (Lynn Breedlove & Sini Anderson), Bitchcat, Triple Creme, Bantam (Gina from the Lunachicks), Gina Young, and many others. Nikki hopes to take over the world touring with many more queer bands in the years to come.
